The ninth Finnish Scouting and Guides' Finnjamboree is called LUMO. The camp will be held in Hämeenlinna from 20 to 28 July 2028 at the Evo hiking area, and is expected to gather over 10,000 scouts. The name chosen for Finland's largest scouting event, the Finnjamboree, is LUMO. Lumo means charm and magic, a mysterious magical attraction that charms and draws those who experience it. The beauty of nature or the landscape can enchant a hiker at a resting place, while music can enchant its listeners around a campfire. Everyone experiences the magic of camp in their own way: one is enchanted by the starry night sky over Evo in late summer, another by the sea of ​​scarves swirling in the air as the camp song rings out at the opening ceremony, and a third by the light breeze blowing through the tent fabric during a well-deserved rest break. Finnjamboree, held every six years, is the largest scouting event in Finland and the highlight of many scouts.
