World Scout Calendar (worldscoutcalendar.org) is a volunteer-led website that helps scouts find international camps. For questions about this policy, contact info@worldscoutcalendar.org.
Newsletter: your email address when you subscribe to camp updates. Camp submissions: information you provide when adding a camp (name, dates, location, description, website, and optional contact details). Technical data: anonymous usage statistics via Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (page views, performance metrics). We do not use advertising trackers.
We use newsletter emails to send camp updates (about twice per year). We use camp submissions to review and publish events on the platform. Analytics help us understand how the site is used and improve it.
Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them. Camp submission data is kept as long as the camp is listed or needed for moderation. Analytics data is processed by Vercel according to their retention policies.
We do not sell your personal data. Data is stored in Supabase (database hosting). Email notifications for camp submissions are sent via Resend. Analytics are processed by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf to run the website.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing info@worldscoutcalendar.org. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
